ProMMAN Set To Revamp The Nigeria Modeling Industry

The National body of the modeling industry in Nigeria is set to revamp the industry according to the National President, Frank Osodi in a virtual meeting held with the executive arm of ProMMan, the official and legally registered body for models and model agencies in Nigeria.
According to him, it has become imperative for the Professional Model Managers Association of Nigeria (Promman) to work with the appropriate authorities to sanitise the industry at such a time when the rape rate is on the surge, not to mention the Covid 19 pandemic which has affected the normal operations of business within the fashion and entertainment industries and now requires serious attention and careful measures to keep safe. He urged the executive body to sensitize the models and professional model managers as the association is set to work with industry stakeholders to work out safety measures and profer innovative solutions for the current times as the pandemic has greatly affected businesses in the industry. The association has so far been having talks with APCON and other relevant bodies to review the conditions of service and modeling rates. PROMMAN is poised to uphold professionalism and to profer solutions to help agencies and models remain relevant in these times.
